Reactions range from mild to debilitating

Toxic Amenders are survivors of this life-altering, energy stealing,
attitude-changing condition.
Chemicals in common products trigger symptoms

Sometimes need to wear our masks
when we leave our homes and many of us can’t go out       without suffering severe reactions to common products.

We have to work tirelessly to keep our homes as non-toxic as possible and avoid contact with fumes from people's deodorant, fabric softeners, fragranced products, and cigarette smoke to name just a few.

We want to change the way people think about everyday products which we KNOW are causing needless loss
and stealing once productive people's lives.

Reading labels, researching and demanding to know what is in products is necessary because we are not being protected.

Advertising only gives the benefits of products in a thirty second soundbyte.

Harmful effects need to be researched.
Just because something is found on a shelf in a store, doesn’t mean it’s tested or safe.

It is up to us to find out if we want to make good choices for what we are exposing ourselves to.

Many companies can be contacted through toll free numbers and email.

Add your voice and advise government health agencies if you’ve had a reaction to a product.

You’re probably not alone in your complaint.

Yes, the thought of bug spray and new carpet adhesives causing instant, permanent disability is a huge mental leap to make.
We didn't understand how this could happen before we got sick, either.

Now, the studies are out and the evidence is clear, but they aren’t advertised.

You may already know someone who gets sick around perfume, fabric softener or paint. Chances are their brains are being affected, along with other organs.

They might not yet understand what is happening to them, but they know it's real and they know they feel better away from the offending products.

We ask our doctors, co-workers, families, the public in general
for understanding and accommodation. We can’t interact with others without it.
But too often, we're met with cynicism and even contempt
from institutions obliged to help us.

Unlike people with other chronic conditions, we are left mostly to our own devices.

Our message is THINK and don’t be ruled by fear.  Take action.

Learn what is in household and personal care products.

Understand how your use of fragrance, pesticides, cleaning products, building materials, air fresheners (poisoners), petroleum products, printing inks, fabric treatment,
and the thousands of other products known to affect health
might be harming you and others.

Respect yourself and your life.

Don't wait for permanent illness to affect you or your loved ones.

Read labels, choose lesser or non-toxic products
for eating, breathing, cleaning, building and wearing.
Less-toxic for life!

We are hidden away but we refuse to be silent.
